What is Eloping?
Eloping traditionally refers to a couple getting married in a private and often sudden manner, typically without a formal ceremony and, at times, without the knowledge or consent of their families.
While eloping historically had a somewhat negative connotation, associated with secretive and impulsive unions, in modern times, it has evolved to signify a more intentional and personal choice for a simple, private, or unconventional wedding.
Couples may choose to elope for various reasons, such as desiring an intimate ceremony, avoiding the stress of planning a large wedding, or prioritizing the commitment to each other over the traditional aspects of a wedding celebration.
